10.1 Audit waste of your campus with a team. POLI 121 Class: Celia Goetowski & David Whiteman Project: Action Week Recycling Audit Project Date: Sept 20 - 24, 2010 Overview: The 22 students in POLI 121 completed a week-long action project with USC's Office on Recycling. As part of the project was they divided up in teams of two and were given a region of campus that included multiple office and event buildings. Their mission was to record the number and types of recycling containers in these buildings and document the use of recycling they employed. Their project goals included: completing 8hrs of work in completing documentation of all assigned buildings, collecting and presenting data, and making any additional notes. Once collected, all data was turned over to USC Recycling for use in audits and equipping USC offices more recycling-friendly.
